Link (http://www.wintonmotorraceway.com.au/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=195&Itemid=84) The Winton 24 Hour race is set to return in 2010, this time as a Relay Regularity. Many years ago the event was run as a "race" where the team that completed the most laps won. The Team at Winton Motor Raceway has re-birthed the event as a "Relay Regularity" where the most consistant team over the 24 hour period will walk away the winners.

Being held on the Easter long weekend, April 2-4, 2010 gives the competitors enough time to recover from the massive event, then be able to return to their everyday lives.

Teams will consist of 6-10 cars, and the drivers will only need a minimum of a AASA Club Licence to compete. So this basically makes the event open to anyone competing in club sprints.

Initial interest has been very high for the event, and entries will open in October 2009.

Winton Motor Raceway will also take individual entries from drivers who are not able to form their own team. It is planned that mixed teams will be randomly made up out of these people.

i think we should get a team or 2 together for this event, it would be soo much fun!!
