Hi all,

I'm soon (can feel it starting to slip) going to be in need of a new clutch for the much loved 328i. I've been searching the internet and there seems to be a bit to choose from, and to be honest I'm quite confused.

I emailed the guys at HPF's and they seemed to think I would need a custom setup due to the car being a pre 96 and all the clutches for sale are for 96-99 cars. Is this true? Or are they just rounding years off? Because from what I know they started production of the 328i's in 95. Confusing?

Also what would you recommend? I know a lot of you are E36 people so I'm hoping you have opinions on this. Some of the stuff from HPF looks good for a reasonable price.

The car has an M50 intake an custom cold air intake, other than that it's stock. I'm looking for something that will hold quite a lot of power and also I'm not so worried about driveability.

URL for the 328 kits from HPF is: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/performanceparts/BMW/328/Clutch/Clutch_Kits

I'll want:
- Pressure Plate.
- Clutch Disc.
- Throw-out Bearing
- Pilot Bearing or Bushing
- Alignment Tool
And maybe a lighter flywheel if you recommend...?

Thanks in advance!
