RE: late E30 in tank submerged pump, cost of replacement pump is near $330???
There is a motor and pump kit but the parts don't all fit neatly with the rest of the pump assembly fittings. The kit is less than 1/2 new pump assembly cost but I'm wondering if improvised connections will ultimately mean a night beside a road somewhere because the original setup is compromised. The main issue is the improvised set up is not as flexible and won't handle the tiny pump's vibrations as well as the original.
any experiences out there on how long this is likely to last?
