Hi There,

I'm on the market to find a reasonable '02. Not really worried about engine size as it's for my girlfriend (and a project for me) and will actually be her first car!

Would like a manual but keeping an open mind. Happy to do a little restoration work but not looking for something that needs thousands spent on it.

Also preferably a carb engine but once again I'm not set on that.

Cheers Guys and Girls, Hopefully someone has something!

Tom

HAHA just logged in first time for a few weeks! Very funny!

Indeed i'm hoping so! In the process of teaching her advanced manual techniques, my gearbox is suffering....

The ZF 5-Speed is pretty durable so I wouldn't worry about it.

They only start to really go bad at about high 200kms.

Its actually the same gearbox that the E36 M3 3.0 Euro and all the US-spec E36 M3s use so it can take a beating!

OMG!!!!
Leo you are so technical, and probably being affected by the time zones.
Tom is obviously excited by the instruction techniques and enjoying the superior handling.
