TEAM POSITION AVAILABLE.
I am a member of a team with an accepted entry in the Phillip Is 6-Hour that is being held on 7 & 8 th August. As a result of some changed circumstances, a team position has become available.
The entry guarantees you to 1&1/2 hours of race time on the Sunday in the event, and at least an hour of practice time on the Saturday. Car preparation required is the same as for any BMWCCV motorsport day. You don't necessarily need to have a race car, eg:2 members of my team are using our road cars.
For those unfamiliar with the event, it runs the same way as the Winton 6-Hour, as a regularity event, ie: you nominate a lap time to drive to, and the team earns points for laps run as close as possible to your nominated time.
This event is as close to racing that you can do on a CAMS Level2S license.
I have done the event for the past 2 years, as have quite a number of BMWCCV members, and have had a fantastic weekend.
The fee for the weekend is just $400 entry fee.
