Default E36 M3 suspension bushes

At 162,000kms, the time has come for me to replace the tired rubber suspension bushes.

Can anyone advise if the nolathane type bushes are better than the oem product? Why would one be better than the other?

I predominently use the car on the street and for the occasional track days. Is there a disadvantage in fitting nolathane? Are there any ride/noise issues to consider?

Although they feel ok to me at the moment, should I consider changing shocks and springs too?

Cheers

David

the nolethane bushes are firmer than OEM and still dont transmit much road noise. The real improtant ones to do are the rear trailing arm bushes, as the rear toe deflects under load giving unpredictable handling and inside edge tyre wear. its a good idea to check over all the bushes and mounts to ensure they are in good condition. There is nothing wrong with the OEM suspension, but its getting on in age so these items will benifit from being replaced. I use eibach springs with koni yellow adjustable shocks. I do track days also and the suspension works well.

also ya suspension would benifit from some more agressive alignment esp benifit for track days. also some solid adjsustable bearing plates would be good as you can dial in more -ve camber.
