Scotty, I'll put the Alpina in for display, organise and pick up the spit roast and drinks. I'm available for Judging and so is Steve McKenna.

Default Volunteers needed for COE.

We need a few more volunteers for Judging and assist with catering.
Volunteers get free lunch. Please pm me if you wish to assist.
Scotty also needs a hand with parking and marquee set up.

Spent the whole day detailing car. Interior was pretty filthy when I bought it & to date I hadn't gotten round to giving it a proper detail. The seats although in good overall condition were filthy (supposed to be silver but more of a dirty gray).

Started at 7ish this morning by running the RCA's from new head unit installed in Nov which had been sitting in the Passenger side well.

Then started on seats, I actually had to use carpet cleaning spray & coarse brush to get all the dirt & crap up went through a couple of buckets of water. Pics show contrast of before & after. Pretty much an hour per seat in front fortunately pass side no where near as bad as driver. Finished with Sonax leather conditioner.

Clean bucket water 1st of 4 on front seats alone.

Yes they were that filthy!

EEEWWW

Shoulda just used a Gerni

UUURG

Skanky water

Clean & drying prior to conditioning.

Also detailed the steering wheel as the blue stitching was really dirty from previous owners as well. Stitching came up like new Yay!

Before

1/2 done...bottom section done, top section dirty.

Finito

close up...Nice!

Followed by an engine bay detail, fortunately started of in reasonable condition so not too much effort required here.

Wheels
Using Sonax alkaline wheel cleaner.

Early start in the morn to do body & wheel wells etc.

Congrats SG. Big thanks to Scotty and the volunteers, Judges, Scorer Tony, for the effort. It was another fine turnout of fine vehicles and a great Spit Roast lunch Celebration. Looks like new members as a result. Pics anyone?
